About us

Renate Epper und Jeannette Ming are running this project. They are committed helping with joy and vigor.

Our projects are only as successful as they are accepted and put into practice by the school, and are made a part of themselves and their culture.

Our history

2017: Foundation of Explorer Tours, Nathalis Kitchen, and Mondesa Foundation by Renate Epper and Nande Junias. Renate Epper is on the foundation board and has insight into their account management.

2018: Container Goods4Life; Personal delivery of collected goods to the population. Construction of Festus Gonteb school library with ICT. Renovate and expand school playground/playground equipment.

2019: Foundation of the Goods4Life association. As founder and foundation board member, she is in exchange with local leaders several times a week.

2020: Establishment of a school sewing workshop, yoga lessons for the children,

2021: Development of afternoon activities, expansion of the library, school uniforms.

2022: Sewing workshop in DRC in Mondesa township, joint venture with Katutura Foundation in Namibia. 12 women can do a stage over two years with sewing training and then purchase a sewing machine with a microcredit.

2023: Continuation and expansion of the previous projects. Start of training with six seamstresses in the DRC township of Mondesa. Chicken, vegetable and goat project in Owamboland/ Promote entrepreneurship/ After two years, the loan will be repaid by the community.

2024:All existing projects will continue with full dedication.

A special highlight: Dr. Hannah in Owamboland received a sterilization device for her clinic—saving her the 45-minute trip to the nearest hospital. And because many patients urgently need medical care but can’t afford it, we continue to provide essential medication free of charge. Direct help—right where it’s needed most.

2025: This year brings a wave of new initiatives:

  • A 300 m² fruit and vegetable greenhouse
  • A brand-new playground for the kindergarten
  • The launch of the Boys Club at Festus Gonteb Scho
  • Our sewing studio on the grounds of Festus Gonteb School is made available free of charge to two seamstresses.
In return, they repair the children’s school uniforms twice a week—free of charge.
  • New hope for Lana (name changed): Her family now has access to clean water through a water magnet key. If Lana continues to show such motivation, we’ll support her next year in attending high school and cover the cost of hostel accommodation.
  • Solidarity beyond generations:We delivered winter food packages to elderly people in need within the township.
