More Than Maize – A Warm Meal for Strong Learners

Over 400 children receive a warm meal during school breaks. However, since the COVID-19 pandemic, more and more schools have struggled to provide this essential support to learners in need.

That’s why the Foundation decided to participate in a goat project.

Starting in January 2026, Festus Gonteb Primary School will receive the meat of one goat per month – allowing the daily meal, which mostly consists of maize, to be enriched with carrots, cabbage, potatoes, and goat meat.
